Hello Angels! Today I come to you with the top 10 places to visit in San Diego. I hope that if you have been here these top 10 are among your favorites too. If you have not visited and plan to I hope you get to see some of these places and let me know what you think or what you loved best. Enjoy!

  1. La Jolla Cove (Seals, Sea Lions) I have been to many beaches before but the best one has to be La Jolla and not because of the water or anything similar to that but because there are actual Seals and Sea Lions just resting on the rocks. The actual area is quite small, at least the area where the sea lions like to relax. There are a multitude of them just relaxing out on the rocks and in the water. It was a site to see and smell. It made the trip worth it considering I lived in Temecula (an hour drive). The beach near where they are was very clean. The parking was fairly similar to that of a regular beach you just have to have luck but overall the Seal/Sea lion watching was an amazing experience. I believe everyone should experience it.

2. Seaworld. This is probably one of the most requested places by the kids when they came to visit. Due to my husband and I being military/veterans we get into Seaworld for free so we always make this a trip with the kids. We have been to Florida, Texas and now California. Needless to say the pictures should do it justice.

3. Gaslamp District. This place is heaven for a date night out, hang out or just a getaway. It is what you would consider a downtown area for San Diego I loved it. Had the best bars and food places ever. The pictures down below will do it justice.

4. Petco Stadium. Ok so my blog should really be makeup, fitness, baseball and lifestyle because baseball is my top favorite sport. I love going to baseball parks and I absolutely grew up a Yankees fan (down the street from the stadium the original stadium not the new one although they are within walking distance from each other) Every chance I get I love to hit up a stadium and every place I go I love to see their stadiums. Whenever the Yankees are in town I love to go catch a game if I can. I was able to see the Mets here (my husbands team) several times and I loved it. The stadium has got to be one of the nicest stadiums in the states. I would go there any day of the week and be completely contempt.

5. Carlsbad Beach. This beach is amazing. It takes a little while to get to the beach from the entry point i took which had some steep stairs but the view from the top was to die for. Excellent place to run and view the beach from the top. The best part of this was the fact that there is a little downtown in this area filled with restaurants and tons of shops. Its a great one day get away or more.

6. Camp Pendleton Beach. So Carlsbad is amazing but Camp Pendleton's Beach (Del Mar not the one in San Diego this one is called Del Mar as well) is just crazy beautiful considering it is on a military post. I know that a lot of people wont be able to see it unless they are military but lord it has been the first beach I have seen smack in the middle of a military post and to make matters even better I worked on Camp Pendleton so yes its just awesome to be driving to work and seeing the water to the side of your window. Definitely amazing perks. Or even better to go to lunch by the beach we did that a couple of times and it was the best thing ever!!!! This beach has some restaurants in front of it. My favorite is Ramones which is a burrito spot that is definitely amazing and that is where we go to lunch.

7. Ride Horses by the Border of California and Mexico. My husband wanted to go horse back riding in the water for his 36th birthday and what did we do exactly just that to make it even better it was on the border of Mexico and California. So yes we could see that border right there in front of us. You will see the pictures down below. It was a 2.5 hour ride down to the water and back. Our tour guide was amazing and so where the horses. We had some people that were not experts on our ride and it was a great experience. I definitely loved it. We wanted to go back and do it again but never had a chance to do it.

8. Coronado. Is a small little island off the coast of San Diego. It is mostly a Navy Base. You can get there through the San Diego Coronado Bridge which is set to be among the most popular suicidal bridge due to the altitude it is a sure fall that you will not recover from. Moving away from the dark stuff. The island is amazing. The water is beautiful there and if you get a chance to go into the military base it is quite, beautiful and friendly neighborhood.

9. Escondido Mall. So this is a Westfield Mall, it is two stories and absolutely divine. It even has a LUSHCOSMETICS store in it. What I love the most about this mall is that it has a lot of stores you don’t find in regular malls. It is also HUGE and has some epic space for all kinds of stores. It has a Cheesecake Factory which makes for a perfect spot to have brunch or dinner and make it the perfect date night. If you are ever in Escondido and need to shop you definitely have to check it out asap.

10. San Clemente Pier. Last but not least is the San Clemente Pier. This is a beach with an amazing pier. It can get pretty busy. We went for our Anniversary which was in July and my husband spent 30+ minutes looking for parking. It was ridiculously crazy and it was in an area where there was a small parking area and then street parking so not the best ideal place for parking but honestly that is almost every beach spot. What I love most about it was the pier. The restaurant on the pier and a little shop in front of the pier facing the street that served fast food and ice cream if you did not want to wait for a sit down at the restaurant. The beach was very clean considering how extremely busy it was. The area makes for some amazing pictures to say the least.

I hope you love my review on the top 10 places to visit. Have you been to any of these places? What are your top 10 places. Lets chat in the comment section. Until the next post loves!
