Shiseido Facial Cottons

Have you ever came across an product that you see on one end of the isle which is half price and you look at the other end of the isle and think you yourself why would I spend double if not triple as much for the "same" thing. Well that happened to me with the following item I am going to talk about. That is the Shiseido Facial Cottons.

I first heard about this product while watching the YouTube Beauty Guru Jaclyn Hill. She briefly mentioned how she came across them in Nordstrom and how everyone raved about it. She was very skeptical about spending so much for Facial Cottons. I had the same problem. However once she got her hands on them she couldn't look away. I remember watching this video and immediately looked up reviews on these Facial Cottons. Come to find out the same thing that happened to Jaclyn happened to other Makeup Lovers so I was even more intrigued. I was trying to save up to purchase more needed items such as foundation and such that I added it to my Sephora love list and left it there.

The Purchase

This is the HOLY GRAIL and that is putting it lightly.

A couple of months later I received a Birthday gift from a dear friend inside the bag of goodies besides mini wine bottles was a Sephora Gift Card. Long story short I decided to invest in these little babies and see for myself what the "hype" was all about. Let me put it to you in simple terms, "this is the holy grail" and I'm putting it lightly. The ProductIf you don't already know what they look like here is the packaging as well as the individual cotton squares. The only thing I cant portray for you is the softness it has in its texture. For that my Angels you would have to give it a try.

The Difference Between Other Brands

When I pressed on the packaging it felt like I was pressing into a pillow.

I have always used those CVS/ Walgreens/ Wal-Mart Cotton Rounds for everything and I always hated that they fell apart. As a contact lens wearer I hated to get little cotton pieces stuck in or around my lashes and in turn stuck in my contacts. The rough texture of those cotton rounds always left my under eyes irritated after trying to remove my concealer.When I came across their packaging I noticed that it was super cute and smooth to the touch. Not only was the packaging soft but when I firmly pressed on the package it felt like I was squeezing a pillow. It was heavenly. The price may scare some people but its honestly not bad considering you are paying for a excellent product. I bought the pack I featured here for $10.00 at Sephora and it comes with 165 pads. I honestly wish they had a mega pack because I would buy them in abundance. I am amazed at how soft it feels on my skin how it does not dissolve or leave any lint balls on my face and best of all the product you put into the cotton is not wasted because it absorbs it well.However I do have a con about this product even though I raved so highly about it and that is that because of this product I can no longer tolerate any of the other cheaper cotton pads. Cheers to an added bonus on my Boujee list hahahaha.
