I highly anticipated this and against critics reviews I actually loved it. That product is non other than the Kat Von D Lock-It Hand Mirror. That's right the wax seal mirror. First off can we just start there the design behind this mirror is the wax seal. OMG! YASSS!!

I am completely obsessed with wax seals. I think they are so antique and historic that you rarely see anyone using them anymore but none the less they are so magical. Now if you are familiar with Kat Von D products you will probably know that she does not play around with packaging. If you are not familiar with Kat Von D products I must say that her packaging is beyond one of a kind. Now most of it is in a Goth style theme but let me tell you even if that not your lane you will still appreciate the detail and thought process put into it.

If I was into tattoos I think I would only let her work on my body.

She is definitely one of a kind and her products portray that as well. Enough about how amazing Kat is because lets face it she is.,I'm sure I will keep talking about it throughout the blog cant make any promises lets get into the review. Packaging So first off the box it came in looked like a regular mailing box on the outside however once you opened it you were immediately greeted with the dark and black theme Kat is known for. The inside was black the cover had Kat von D in white print. The center had the mirror which was wrapped in black paper. It has the Kat von d logo holding it closed. The sinner and saint perfumes where displayed on a car on top of that (I have to try these). Upon opening the black paper I came across the box. First off I did not think the mirror would be this big so already I was excited. Below is the box in which the mirror came in.

That box its self has a picture of the mirror in the back with a few words from Kat. It reads" If you want to know who Kat Von D Beauty is, all you gotta do is look in the mirror" along with the same sentence in two other languages.

Upon opening the majestic box you come across the mirror that is awesomely packaged. The first feel of the mirror you notice that it is extremely lightweight. It feels like it is plastic which more than likely it is or some material similar to that. However the mirror glass itself is awesome and the wax seal stamp on the back is awesome looking with the initials KVD. The handle feels like plastic however it doesn't feel as if it will break. Also on the mirror itself is the tattoo of the stars that KVD has on the side of her face along with her logo across the top. I will say Im not a tattoo person but it is pretty cool to see the reflection of the stars as if it was on your face. I thought that was a pretty cool details many wouldn't have thought of. But your girl KVD thought of it. Got to love her creativity.

I know a lot of people reviewed the mirror and stated that it was cheaply made, that it felt like plastic and that it wasn't what they were expecting it and that they will be returning it but honestly that should not be the case. This mirror was only $18 and for you think that you will be getting a hefty full blown Queen Elizabeth mirror then that is your own problem. When I saw the price I knew right away it wouldn't be the most boujee thing in history but I knew KVD would deliver style and class and that's what she did for me. I am planning on purchasing another one soon for my mother.

Leave me a comment below about what you thought of my review, what you think of the mirror, if you purchased it what are your favorite things about it or not so favorite things. OR even better something you think I should review that I haven't. I am always up for suggestions and thoughts. Until next time Angels!
